Hope – an art competition for children

Frankie - social media managerHi everyone, Frankie here.

Some of you know me from way back when I was just a little kid hanging on the baby gate while you got your hair done with my mom, others may remember my shampoos of more recent times.

Now I am acting as the social media manager for The Beaucatcher Salon. During the coronavirus shutdown I will be bringing you news and posts to keep you in mind that Beaucatcher is missing everyone as much as you miss us.

I’d like to invite you, more specifically your children, to participate in a little art competition. The theme will be HOPE as that’s what we all need more of right now.

The rules are easy-

  1. Ask your kids (any age) to create a work of art showing what HOPE means.
  2. This can be a drawing, painting, poem or story. Anything the kids want to do is ok!
  3. Scan the masterpiece and send it in to me by email.
  4. We will display these works of art in the windows of Beaucatcher during the shut down.
  5. Winners will be chosen on our return and get some lovely Beaucatcher prizes.
  6. Entries accepted right away! We hope to start displaying them this weekend.

We hope in this way to cheer up our shop front and spread the messages of hope and it will also give the kids something to think about, create and look forward to.

I’ve also been working on some videos to help you with Stay-home Hair! Hope you are enjoying them (currently on Instagram, soon on the Beaucatcher YouTube channel).

Next week I will give you details about another campaign to support our stylists by getting back to your roots!

Until then, stay home, stay well and thanks for being there for Beaucatcher!

Best wishes! Frankie
